With the help of over 1,000 supporters, including ASC Members, leadership, and industry friends, the ASC Foundation has raised over $ 2.6 Million since the inception of the Foundation. This generosity underscores the trust donors have in the ASC’s ability to support research that will advance the field of cytopathology and cancer detection, education to bring these advances into the hands of practitioners, and advocacy on behalf of patients and the profession.
ASC donors help the Society build a better future for the profession and for a healthier world.
Gifts range from $20 to $100,000 and reflect a variety of interests from educational programs to cancer research awards to honoring mentors. Unrestricted gifts have also given the ASC the flexibility to fulfill strategic priorities and respond to emerging opportunities. Some highlights from this year’s commitments include:
BD Diagnostics has consecutively given the Foundation contributions and continues this year with a contribution of $35,000. Roche Diagnostics continues to support the Foundation by giving $25,000.
In addition, ASCT Services, Inc., Thyroid Cytopathology Partners, Inspirata, Inc. and CytoInfomatics have contributed to the Foundation in support of the ASC Annual Scientific Meeting.
Special recognition goes to those individuals in our Papanicolaou Clubs. These individuals have given over $20,000 to the ASC Foundation since its inception.
